Dr. Robert Elder brings over three decades of specialized experience to his patients at Metro Chiropractic. As a graduate of the University of Missouri with a BA in Biology with an emphasis in Chemistry, he earned his Doctorate from Logan University and has been in private practice since 1991. Dr. Elder is certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), which uses linear algebra, physics and engineering to assess a patient's spine and posture as compared to published norms. His commitment to pursuing a deeper understanding of spinal biomechanics and functional medicine underscores his dedication to excellence in patient care. Dr. Elder focuses on the optimal assessment and treatment of spinal conditions through a multipronged approach that combines advanced chiropractic techniques with cutting-edge therapeutic methods, creating lasting relief for patients dealing with chronic pain conditions.

Jamal Carter, LMT, has been a valued member of the Metro Chiropractic team since 2015, bringing years of hands-on experience in therapeutic bodywork and soft tissue rehabilitation. He specializes in advanced manual therapies, with a strong focus on Active Release Techniques (ART), Manual Mechanical Manipulations, and Rapid Release Therapy to effectively target muscle tension, scar tissue, and restricted movement patterns.
Jamal’s approach to pain management combines precision and performance-based care, integrating Trigger Point Therapy and clinical massage to restore proper muscle function and mobility. While the chiropractic team focuses on aligning the skeletal system, Jamal ensures the surrounding soft tissues are functioning optimally—helping patients move better, recover faster, and maintain long-term results.
